QUALTAYE is a place where the mystic of the handmade fuse with colourful landscapes to obtain the greatest pleasure of flavours and a unique aroma of its natural products, achieving the "MOST DELIGHTFUL EXPERIENCE".

Thanks to the weather and soil richness of Mendoza, we obtain excellent raw material quality to create products that are entirely natural, free of colorants and preservatives.

We work under specific quality and bromatology regulations, and we demand the same standards to our suppliers.

QUALTAYE achieved in 2009, and renewed it in 2012, the certification "SIGO" (Initial System of Organizational Management) by means of a program that specialises in the constant improvement of tourism companies.

QUALTAYE is a tourist attraction set up by the Culture, Heritage and Tourism Department of Maipú.

QUALTAYE / Huarpe word that means mountain range. Huarpes o Warpes were, around the XV century, indigenous people that lived in the Cuyo region, where the factory is located.

QUALTAYE - Cheese and Delicatessen is a factory of natural handmade products, produced in a family farm in Rodeo del Medio, an area of extraordinary rural landscapes located in Maipú, only 30 km away from Mendoza City.

The raw materials used for QUALTAYE jams are the finest and come from the fruit trees that grow in the farm where the factory is located.

The land has fruit tree plantations of apricots, peaches, plums, figs, cherries, apples, quinces and pears. Besides, it also has Arauco olive trees and a little vine of sultana -seedless- grapes.

QUALTAYE is a place where the mystic of the handmade fuse with colourful landscapes to obtain the greatest pleasure of flavours and a unique aroma of its natural products, achieving the "most delightful experience".

The one hectare size property was bought by Mario Da Fré in 1985. Since then, various fruit trees were planted, which have sweetened the farm landscape these days.

Don Mario, as everybody knew him, worked these lands from scratch by himself since the beginning. He passed on his entrepreneurship to his daughter, Mónica, who now carries forward this undertaking with her family since 2004.
